Biography:

Completed his training as a resident in Digestive Surgery in Lyon (France), New Orleans (Louisiana) and Houston (Texas) between 1996 and 2010.
Then followed a fellowship in general and oncologic Surgery in Lyon, became Professor of Surgery at the University of Lyon in 2018.
Consultant in complex abdominal wall surgery and liver metastasis, and expertise in enhanced recovery after surgery (ERAS), perioperative nutrition and prehabilitation.
Co-founder of the French hernia society (SFCP-CH), and the current president.
Published around 200 scientific articles and chapters of books.
